Bill Pentz Sr. started the business in 1957, repairing motors and drilling wells. His service area was primarily in Orange and Seminole counties. Bill Pentz Jr. continued the business after Bill retired. Bill Pentz Jr. has two stocked service trucks that are ready to go to anywhere in the Central Florida area. Bill Pentz III has been working with the business since June 2002. He continues to work part time while attending UCF. He also attends well drilling seminars. Destin plans to start working part time when he is old enough. Doris Pentz has been keeping the records since 1957.
Our long-term customers have repeatedly referred us to other people. "Word of mouth" about jobs well done keeps us solvent during economic slowdowns. Many new customers are so thankful for our trustworthy reputation that they not only give referrals to other people, but they also give us tips.
Bill Pentz Well Drilling and Pump Service, Inc. has a water well drilling state license, occupational license, workman's compensation insurance, and commercial liability insurance. Certificates of liability insurance may be obtained if desired. Bill belongs to the Florida Ground Water Association and the Florida United Business Association, and is an accredited member of the Central Florida Better Business Bureau (bbb.org).
